1. FORMATION Night is this Wednesday at SJ. Dinner at 5:30 followed by class for students from 6:15-7:30.

2. Register for the Women’s Retreat on Saturday, October 11: Leila Lawler is guest speaker. See the website for details. Day includes lunch, confession and Mass with Bishop Felton at 4pm.

3. Financial statements are available in the table at the back of church for both SJ and OLF.

1. GROUP Night is this Wednesday at SJ from 6:15-7:30. See the board in the back of church to see which groups are currently being offered.

2. That Man is You (TMIY) meets every Thursday, Sept. 18. 6am fellowship, video and discussion. Finish by 7:30 here in SJ social hall. All men are invited.

3. Next Sunday, September 28 we’ll have a rosary procession starting at 2pm from the new church building site and we’ll walk to our current church here. This is in preparation for the month of October which is dedicated to the rosary. There are also 2 upcoming Novenas leading up to these Marian feast days and you can see next week’s bulletin for more info.

4. We will have a Spanish Mass tomorrow, Sept. 20th at SJ at 8am.

5. Sign up for the Women's Day Retreat on Oct. 11. Leila Lawler will be the guest speaker. Go to www.cuyunacatholic.org to register. Seating is limited. Cost: $30 and includes lunch.

Announcements for September 13th-14th

1. This Wed. we have our first Encounter Night which is a monthly event we will be having at St. Joseph 6:15-7:30 PM on one Wednesday a month (refer to the calendar in the new letter for dates).  This is open to anyone in the parish or community.  It is a night of adoration, prayer, music and confession.  The focus is encountering Jesus.

2. This weekend after the two Sunday morning Masses there is an open house for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at the parish office in RM 2.  This is a formation program for 3-6 year olds that will happen Tuesdays and Saturdays.  Come and check out the Atrium that is setup in Room 2.

3. That Man Is You starts up this Thursday at 6 AM-7:30 AM.  This is a men's group that happens most Thursday mornings.

4. If you have a group that you are interested in starting, let us know.  We are posting the groups we currently have at the entrances of the churches, and people can begin signing up. 

5. This weekend we are celebrating the Exultation of the Cross in place of the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

ANNOUNCEMENTS for August 30-31

1. No Mass on Tuesday or Wednesday this week. First Friday/Saturday Mass schedule.

2. Our Fall Party is this Saturday, September 6th. Mass at 4pm at both SJ and OLF. Parishioners A-K=desserts. L-Z=sides. Please bring your dishes to the food tent before Mass at 4pm.

3. Faith Formation starts Sept. 10 so go online to register or call the office. CGS will have an Open House on the 14th of Sept after both SJ Masses.

Announcements 8-24-25

1. Our Fall Party is Sept. 6th. We need about 75 bottles of wine/liquor and 2-liter soda for our games again. Please bring to the office or leave in the totes in the back of church. Also, items for the silent auction are needed. See the bulletin for ideas.

2. OCIA will be starting in the fall. Please let Fr. know if you or someone you know wants to learn more about the Catholic faith.

3. Registration for Faith Formation and CGS are both open. Please go to our website or stop by the office.

4. 55+ planning meeting is this Wednesday, August 27 at 7pm in the SJ social hall.

5. Prayer Guild will meet by the sign on the new property to pray the rosary for the project at 5pm this Monday, August 25th.

Announcements for 8/16 and 8/17

1.      If listening before Friday: Feast of the Assumption to Friday. Vigil Mass SJ at 7pm Thursday and on Friday, Aug. 15 OLF at 9am and noon at SJ.

2.      Refer to the bulletin this week for information about changes in our Faith Formation program this year. We’ll also be staring Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in the Fall, which is a program for 3-6 year olds.

The Catholic Connection ANNOUNCEMENTS July 19-20

1. We’ll have a Spanish Mass this Saturday, July 19th at 8am at SJ.

2. KC Annual Mass at the Crow Wing Chapel is this Sunday, July 20 at 2pm. The Knights also have a Pancake Breakfast after Masses at SJ this weekend.

3. There is a CCW mtg this Wednesday, July 23 at 6:30 in the social hall at SJ.

4. No daily Mass July 21-24th. Mass on Friday, July 25th at 8am.

5. Annual Youth Group garage sale is going on now—Th, F and Sat. Thanks to everyone who worked hard to pull this off.
