The Catholic Connection ANNOUNCEMENTS for May 31-June 1

1. At the 1030 Mass at SJ, we’ll give a special blessing for our high school graduates.

2. Sign-ups in the back of church (SJ) for Corpus Christi procession and Phil Mayer’s meal after his 1st Mass on Saturday, June 14.

3. Someone from St. Francis School will be in the narthex selling raffle tickets this weekend for a chance to win a golf cart.

4. Stop down for coffee and donuts after both Masses this weekend at SJ.

5-25-25 Interview with Evan and Mary Teck

1. Spanish Mass this Saturday, May 24 at 8am at SJ.

2. After this weekend’s Masses the KC will be handing out Tootsie rolls to support MN Special Olympics and the Confidence Learning Center in Baxter. Please be generous.

3. Next Sunday at the 1030 Mass at SJ, we’ll give a special blessing for our high school graduates.

Meet Dcn. Phil Mayer

1. Big weekend May 16 Gala, 17th SJ all school reunion Mass at 4 PM, 18th (no 8:30 Mass at SJ) after 10:30 Mass ground breaking at new church site.

2. Church directories at the office at SJ, or on the table in social hall at OLF.  If you had your photo taken or submitted, we have one set aside for you.  If you didn't we have a few extra.

3. Everyone is welcome to come to Dcn. Phil's ordination on Friday June 13th at the Cathedral in Duluth at 4 PM.  First Mass will be at SJ Sat. June 14th at 4 PM, with a reception afterwards at SJ.  Call the office if you'd like to carpool and get a ride to the ordination.

4. Next Saturday May 24th we'll have a Spanish Mass at 8 am at SJ, everyone is welcome.

5-11-25 Meet Gabrelle a local who grew up here

1. Big weekend May 16-18. Gala: get your tickets and join us at the NP Center. SJ All School Reunion on Saturday with Mass at 4pm. Groundbreaking Ceremony on Sunday after the 1030 Mass. Light refreshments, rosary and digging.

3. Next Tuesday, May 13: Mass at 5:30 at OLF with ice cream afterward.

4. Next Wednesday, CCW will meet in the SJ social hall at 6:30pm. All women of the parish are encouraged/invited to come.

3. We’d like to hear what your experience was like with celebrating Mass ad orientem so we’ll meet next Thursday, May 8 at 6pm in the social hall at SJ.

4. If you have sons between the ages of 6-14 and would like some have assistance other dads in helping to form them, please come learn about a possible new group starting at SJ. The meeting is Wednesday, May 7 at 7pm in the social hall.

5. Praying for the conclave that’ll begin on May 7th.

1. Divine Mercy Sunday: Sunday, today at 230 in Crosslake at Immaculate Heart.

2. Thank you for all the donations that are coming in for the Gala on May 16th. There’s still room so get your tickets online or at the office.

3. Praying for our First Holy Communicants this weekend. And our Confirmandi next weekend. Congratulations on these important steps in your faith journey.

4. Everyone is invited to Deacon Phil Mayer’s ordination in Duluth on Friday, June 13th at 5:30pm and his first Mass will be here at St. Joseph the following day at 4pm. Call the office if you have questions about that.
