Parish Announcements for 2-23-25

1. Prayerfully consider giving to the Ministries Appeal (this is how we support our Diocesan mission initiatives).

2. SJ parishioners are kindly asked not to park in any of our neighbors on.  It happened recently, and we want to be good neighbors.

3. The Council of Catholic Women is having a meeting on Sat. Feb. 22nd in the SJ social hall, at 9:30 or 10... I've heard two different times.

4. Thanks for all who continue to support the SJ building project!

Announcements:

1. The Ministries Appeal is kicking off this weekend.  Please consider giving to support the ministries of our diocese.  

2. There is a Cribbage social event on Sunday Feb. 16th 6-7:30 at Cana Wine Bar in Crosby

3. The Council of Catholic Women is having a planning meeting open to all women of the parishes to discuss ideas for different guilds.  The meeting is Sat. Feb. 22nd at 10 AM in the St. Joseph Social Hall

4. The Knights of Columbus will have breakfast available after both Sunday Masses at St. Joseph.

Announcements:

1. Cribbage night Cana wine bar 6-7:30 Sunday Feb 16^th, sign up at the back of church
2. Ministry Appeal letters from the diocesan office should have come in, please pray and consider how you can help us make our goals.
3. Joseph Sock Drive, one of our students is working to provide socks for those who need them. Consider bringing in some socks and putting them in the bin at St. Joseph
4. CCW is handing out flyer at SJ to invite women of the parish to be involved. The new officers are inviting you to a meeting Sat. Feb 22^nd 10 AM in the social hall.
5. We could really use some more adorers in the adoration chapel. Call or stop by the office or and let us know if you can help. Open hours are posted in the bulletin.

Announcements:

1. No Daily Masses this week except first Friday Feb 7th at 9 AM at OLF, Fr. Eli is gone on retreat

2. Donut Sundays after both Masses on Sundays at SJ starting this Sunday

3. Ministries Appeal will be starting up in February should be getting your mailings soon.

4. Cribbage night on Sunday Feb. 16th 6-7:30 at the Cana wine bar bring a board

5. Engagement Retreat sign up on the diocesan website Mar 29-30

6. Rice Lake construction has been selected for the SJ church project

January 26th 2025 Intreview with Nancy Fordahl our book keeper

1. Catholic Schools week is this week Jan. 26th-Feb 1st, St. Franics students may be selling raffle tickets after Masses.

2. Normal Mass schedule this week, note that first Saturday Mass will be at 8 AM at SJ. (Feb 2st)

3. Next week (Feb 3rd-7th) the normal daily Masses are cancelled Fr. Eli will be on the priest retreat at Kings House in Buffalo MN.  Fr. George will celebrate the 1st Friday Mass at OLF 9 AM (Feb. 7th).

4.Donut Sunday will be starting in February.  Every Sunday After both Masses at SJ t here will be donuts in the social hall except on 3rd Sunday when the Knights of Columbus host breakfast.

January 19th 2025 Interview with Lisa Stokman parish secretary

1. Join the Knights of Columbus after Sunday Masses at SJ for breakfast (3rd Sundays).  KC's will also speak about the Spiritual Adoption program.

2. This week on Wed. at Faith Formation, there will be Adoration and Confession from 6:15~7:15 PM all parishioners are welcome to come and pray before the blessed sacrament in the SJ Church.

3. Catholic Schools week begins on the 26th.  Students from St. Francis School will be selling raffle tickets after Masses.
